EKONID Summer Get Together 2026

The Summer Get Together is one of the flagship networking events run by EKONID, the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and one of the more approachable entry points into Jakarta's bilateral business community.

The format is deliberately relaxed rather than conference-style: an evening reception on the poolside terrace on the fifth floor of the Mandarin Oriental, with drinks, a dinner buffet and a lucky draw. The intent is to make new connections rather than sit through presentations, which makes it a reasonable first chamber event if you have recently arrived in the city.

Attendance draws business professionals and industry leaders from across the German-Indonesian community, though chamber events of this kind are typically open to non-members as well.

Timing: 18:30–21:30 WIB on Thursday 27 August. Registration is through EKONID's online form ahead of the evening — walk-ins are not usually accommodated at hotel receptions of this type, so register in advance.
