Fi Asia Indonesia 2026

Fi Asia Indonesia is the largest food and beverage ingredients trade event in Southeast Asia, and one of the biggest B2B gatherings on Jakarta's calendar. The 2026 edition brings more than 700 exhibiting companies from over 100 countries to JIExpo Kemayoran across three days, with organisers expecting upwards of 24,000 attendees. This year's theme is "Elevating Food Standards for a Healthier, Greener Future".

The exhibition floor covers functional food, flavours and spices, supplements and nutraceuticals, functional beverages, dairy and dairy replacement, emulsifiers, proteins and binders. New for 2026 is Nutraceutical Indonesia, powered by Vitafoods Asia and located in Hall D2, focused on functional ingredients and supplements — a direct response to growing demand for halal-certified health products.

Running alongside is a three-day Fi Asia Conference on research, innovation, regulation and compliance, aimed at R&D and regulatory professionals. Clean-label development is expected to dominate, particularly with Indonesia introducing traffic-light labelling for sugar, salt and fat. The Fi Theatre runs sessions with Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI) on fermentation, functional ingredients and bioactives.

Other features include a Hosted Buyers Programme connecting international buyers with regional suppliers, a Snack Bar showcasing healthier snacking and reformulation, and a Technical Presentation area for product demonstrations and case studies.

This is a trade event rather than a consumer one — the value is in sourcing, distribution deals and industry intelligence rather than tasting. Organised by Pamerindo Indonesia and Informa Markets.
