About this event
The Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) is Bank Indonesia's annual showcase for the sharia economy and Islamic finance, held with industry and government partners. The 13th edition runs from Wednesday 14 to Sunday 18 October 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JCC) in Senayan.
The public centrepiece is the Indonesia Halal Showcase, an exhibition of twelve "islands" covering halal food and drink, modest fashion, halal cosmetics, Islamic banking and fintech, zakat and waqf, and pesantren (Islamic boarding school) businesses. Alongside it are IN2MotionFest, the Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival, and IN2HCC, the Indonesia International Halal Chef Competition, plus a children's festival and student competitions.
The programme also includes daily talk shows (on topics such as sharia investment, financing and halal lifestyle), international forums on zakat, waqf and Muslim-friendly tourism, and business-matching sessions for trade buyers.
Entry to the Halal Showcase is free and open to the public, according to the organiser. The opening ceremony is on the morning of 14 October; per the official agenda, the IN2MotionFest and IN2HCC halls run 08:00–21:00 from 15 to 17 October. Check the agenda on the ISEF website for individual sessions, as the schedule is subject to change.
JCC is on Jl. Gatot Subroto in Senayan; the nearest MRT station is Istora Mandiri. A pre-event ISEF Family Run takes place at GBK City Forest on Sunday 11 October.
