The Paper Menagerie #3: On Equal Grounds

The Paper Menagerie #3: On Equal Grounds is the third edition of ISA Art Gallery's exhibition built around paper. It runs from 19 September to 27 November 2026 at the gallery on the ground floor of Wisma 46, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman.

The show treats paper as a material that flattens hierarchy, bringing painters, sculptors, collectives and art researchers from three generations together on equal terms. Artists include A. D. Pirous, Arahmaiani, Melati Suryodarmo, Jompet Kuswidananto, Iwan Effendi, Jumaadi, Ida Lawrence, Etza Meisyara, Fitri DK and ruangrupa, alongside SURVIVE! Garage, Krack! and Grafis Huru Hara, among more than 60 names.

Wisma 46 is in the Sudirman business district, next to Grand Indonesia. Dukuh Atas BNI and Bundaran HI MRT stations and the Sudirman TransJakarta stops are all a short walk away.
