Malaysian studio Les' Copaque Production brings its stage musical Upin & Ipin: Kembara Luar Biasa! to Jakarta on Saturday 19 December 2026 at 3pm, part of the animated series' 20th-anniversary celebrations. It is billed as the first time the musical has been staged in Indonesia; the promoter is Banyak Bagus Entertainment.

The story starts on an ordinary day in Kampung Durian Runtuh before Upin, Ipin and friends – Susanti, Mei Mei, Mail, Jarjit, Ehsan and Fizi – find themselves in the magical land of Pin Pin Pom, where the fearsome Nenek Kebayan tests their courage and friendship. Ten characters appear live on stage, with 15 songs for the audience to join in with.
