Now in its twelfth year, the Indoindians Diwali Bazaar has grown from a small community gathering into Indonesia's largest Indian festive shopping event, drawing over 3,000 visitors to The Westin Jakarta in Kuningan for a single day each September.
The bazaar fills the hotel's ballroom with around 150 vendors covering festive fashion and ethnic wear, jewellery, home décor, beauty and wellness products, gifts, handicrafts and children's products, alongside a substantial food court serving authentic Indian and international cuisine.
Beyond the shopping, the day runs live cultural performances, family activities and festive photo setups. It functions as a genuine community meeting point — well attended by the Indian diaspora, but equally by Indonesians and expatriates who come for the food, the craftsmanship and the atmosphere.
Organiser Indoindians has been connecting the Indian community in Indonesia for more than 26 years, and for many small businesses the bazaar has become an annual launchpad for new festive collections.
Entry runs 10am to 8pm. Vendor stalls are booked through iitix.com and consistently sell out.
