About this event
Suci Tailor is a play staged by the 2026 Level 2 students of the Salihara Acting Class (Kelas Akting Salihara), directed by Rukman Rosadi from a script by Idham Aulia Shaffansyah. It plays once, on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 8pm, in the Black Box at Komunitas Salihara in Pasar Minggu.
The story is set in a tailor's shop that is more than a place to have clothes made: it is a space full of everyday life and its problems, including romances that slowly take hold of the people who pass through. Suci, the tailor, is the magnet for her customers and the centre of the story, as each visitor brings in a tale of their own.
Tickets: Rp50,000 (donation ticket) from Salihara's official ticketing site. The performance runs about 90 minutes.
Practical notes: the play is performed in Indonesian. The Level 1 class stages its own devised piece, Labirin Memorabilia, the following afternoon (15 November). Salihara Arts Center is on Jl. Salihara in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
