XA4 (Xavier Boot) – Classical Music Concert at Erasmus Huis

Erasmus Huis presents XA4, the project of Amsterdam-based pianist and composer Xavier Boot, on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 7.30pm. The Jakarta show is a collaboration with Sekolah Musik YPM and closes a short Indonesian tour that also visits Semarang and Banda Aceh.

XA4's live sets mix classical piano, electronic production and traditional gamelan influences, ranging from intricate minimalist piano to driving industrial techno; Erasmus Huis compares the sound to Grandbrothers and Philip Glass. Boot studied classical and electronic music at the conservatories of The Hague, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf, has released music on Excelsior Recordings and Philip Glass's Orange Mountain Music, and has played the Royal Concertgebouw, Melkweg, ADE and DGTL.

Entry is free and no registration is required: come directly to Erasmus Huis. Seats are first come, first served.

Getting there: Erasmus Huis is at Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said Kav. S-3, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on TransJakarta corridor 6.
