PLN Electric Run 2026

PLN Electric Run returns for its fourth edition on Sunday 8 November 2026 around ICE BSD City. Run by state electricity company PLN with Harian Kompas as event organiser, this year's theme is "Powering Our Green Future", with a focus on cutting the event's carbon footprint.

There are three distances: 5K, 10K and a half marathon (21K). The half-marathon course has been measured to AIMS standards and the organisers have applied for a World Athletics Label, which would make it the first labelled road race in South Tangerang. There is also an international runners' category. Quota is 8,000 runners, and the official site advertises total prize money of Rp1 billion plus a lucky draw for electric motorbikes.

Registration is through the PLN Mobile app (Early Bird, Group and General Sale tiers); the free "special ticket" allocation ran out in July. Fees and remaining availability are shown in the app.

Start times had not been published at the time of writing. ICE BSD is more than an hour from central Jakarta; the KRL Rangkasbitung line to Cisauk station plus the free BSD Link shuttle is the public-transport option, but early race starts may mean staying nearby the night before.
