WAQF Run 2026

WAQF Run 2026 is a 5K fun run at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, on Sunday 29 November 2026, from 6am to 9am. It is organised by Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI), Indonesia's Waqf Board, and returns after editions in 2024 and 2025.

The race is non-timed and aimed at beginners, communities and anyone who wants to run for a cause. This year's theme, "Berlari, Berwakaf, Peduli Hutan Kita", links the run to waqf-based forests: participants' waqf and donations go towards expanding and managing forest areas in partnership with MOSAIC. The organisers are aiming for 1,000 runners, and the official route is due to be published once it has been finalised with the venue.

Registration costs Rp305,000 in total, of which Rp50,000 is a waqf contribution, and is done through the official website. The race pack includes a jersey, BIB, finisher medal and tote bag.

TMII is in Cipayung, East Jakarta. With a 6am start, ride-hailing is the most practical way to get there.
