Bonenkai Festival 13: Japan Festival Bogor 2026

Bonenkai Festival is the annual Japanese culture festival of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bogor, the tourism college in the Yasmin area of Bogor. The 13th edition runs on Saturday 19 December 2026, from about 07:30 to 18:30.

The programme includes Bon Odori dancing, aikido and ninjutsu demonstrations, kabuki, Indonesian traditional dance and pencak silat, a Japanese creative market, a Japanese food bazaar and a maid and butler café. There are cosplay, Japanese dance cover, karaoke and anime colouring competitions, Japanese film screenings, a yukata photo session and a Japanese horror-themed haunted house.

STP Bogor is on Jl. KH. R. Abdullah Bin Nuh in Curugmekar, West Bogor. Allow around an hour and a half by road from central Jakarta, or take the KRL commuter line to Bogor and continue by car.
