Jakarta Film Week 2026

Jakarta Film Week returns for its sixth edition from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October 2026 under the theme ENCOUNTERS. The festival is backed by the Jakarta provincial government and screens at CGV Grand Indonesia, Taman Ismail Marzuki, CGV FX Sudirman and other venues, with part of the programme online on Vidio.

The festival opens with Ang Geck Geck's Singaporean film Ah Girl and closes with the Indonesian premiere of Yosep Anggi Noen's The Sea Speaks His Name. The Global Feature Competition includes Paolo Sorrentino's La Grazia, and the programme also features Kamila Andini's Four Seasons in Java, local premieres and Jakarta Film Fund shorts. More than 1,200 films were submitted from 82 countries.

The JFWNET industry strand runs a producers' lab, pitching forum and talks. Schedules and tickets are released through the festival website; prices had not been published at the time of listing, and start times shown are indicative.
